ARTVERONA 2018
Pav. 11 – Booth B3
12 – 15 October 2018

This year Galleria Il Ponte is once again taking part in ArtVerona, dedicating part of its stand to a single maestro of Italian art. The stand presents a group of works by Aldo Mondino on whom the gallery organized an important exhibition last year in collaboration with the Archivio Aldo Mondino and curator Alberto Fiz. On show is a selection of works belonging to the years 1963-64 from Galleria La Salita in Rome, where the Quadri Quadrettati exhibition, with a text in the catalogue by Cesare Vivaldi, was held in the same year 1964.
Also on display alongside this monographic space are the works of artists to whom the gallery has dedicated exhibitions and catalogues over the years: Gianfranco Baruchello, Giuseppe Chiari, Bruno Gambone, Bernard JoubertHidetoshi Nagasawa, Giulia Napoleone, Luca Maria Patella, Renato Ranaldi, Mauro Staccioli, Ben Vautier and a work by Carol Rama whose exhibition will be held in November.
Galleria Il Ponte also presents an extroflected canvas by Agostino Bonalumi, a rare and sought-after red ‘Pancia’ from 1965, from Galleria Schwarz in Milan, which dedicated a solo show to him in that same year.
