MIART 2019 Icaro
Pav. 3 Booth D 54
Nagasawa
04 – 07 april 2019 Rama

Il Ponte presents at miart 2019 works by Paolo Icaro, Hidetoshi Nagasawa and Carol Rama. Three artists to whom the gallery has dedicated over the years monographic exhibitions and more, until the one Hidetoshi Nagasawa. The sculpture of the Seventies.
The common thread that unites these three artists is the individuality of their research, that makes difficult to catalogue them in an artistic current and their definition in the pure field of the sculpture or painting is reductive.
In the works presented it is immediately highlighted their singularity, given by the personal use of unusual materials: lead and plaster for Icaro; copper, brass, wood, paper for Nagasawa; car hoods, bicycle inner tubes, doll eyes for Rama.
