Guy Massaux is a painter, director, producer, curator, professor at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels, where in 1998 he created and still directs the art studio in public space – AEsP.
After dedicating his work as an artist mainly to painting, he directs his research towards the moving image, through cinematographic writing, in particular through video installation devices. He has directed several short films, Il Rifugio (2015), La Selva Oscura (2018), B. o la Vita Nuova (2021) and CANTI-Trilogy video / film in post-production, to be released during 2023.
He lives and works between Belgium and Italy.
